EXCS32 Catamaran to Pyramiden

Een snelle en effectieve manier om tijdens een halve dagtour de oude Russische spookstad Pyramiden te ontdekken. Per comfortabele catamaran, inclusief panoramadeck en warme stoelen binnen (!), vaar je naar Pyramiden. Aan boord krijg je al veel informatie over deze spookstad, zodat je klaar bent om de stad te ontdekken. Je hebt tijdens deze tour ca. 2 uur de tijd aan land, voordat de boot weer teruggaat naar Longyearbyen. Het is mogelijk deze tour te combineren met een bezoek aan Barentsburg (volledige dagtour, ca. 11 uur).

Please be advised that weather and ice conditions early in the season can make it impossible to disembark in Pyramiden. Our fjord-cruise will in such case follow the ice edge in Billefjorden, with unique possibilities of wildlife sightings and spectacular nature views.

It is strongly advised to dress in warm and windproof clothing. Remember to bring a hat, scarf, gloves or mittens to help you stay warm. We do have a limited supply of thermic overall suits on board, which you can borrow if you do get cold. On board you will also find a kiosk, where you can buy something to clench your thirst, or subdue your hunger.
